Chinese Dragons

Look at our colourful Chinese Dragons.

For art we made Chinese Dragons. First of all we looked at a pictures of dragons and talked about how the artists had used colours effectively. We then coloured in our dragon heads with pastels. Next we folded our dragon's bodies and added tails. We think that our dragons look fabulous!!!

The Cultural Food Festival

On Friday evening we had the Cultural Food Festival. It was fabulous to try food from other countries. We enjoyed playing games, going swimming and having a go on The Terminator. The performances from the different cultural groups were amazing!

Our Meanies

We had lots of fun adding dye to our pictures to make them look colourful.

We read the big book The Meanies that Came to School. We looked at how the illustrator had used line, shape and colour and we then drew our own pictures of Meanies. For writing this week we wrote descriptions about our Meanies. We described what they look like, the things they do and what they like to eat.
