We had lunch with our special toys.

Yesterday we had a celebration at school. We all brought along our precious soft toys from home. We introduced our toys to the other children in our class and talked about why they are special. We had lots of fun making hats for our party and we really enjoyed having our lunch with our toys. In the afternoon we played party games. We had a fabulous celebration!!

For P.E we are very lucky to have special coaches who come in to take us for softball. We are learning  how to throw and catch the ball. We are also learning how to bat, field and bowl. Today we enjoyed playing a game of softball rounders. Then we had a competition to see who could hit the ball the furthest. We all tried our very best. Ashton was amazing and he managed to hit the ball a really long way!!

Race Relations Day

We had a fabulous day last Thursday! It was Race Relations Day. First of all we had a parade. Lots of children were wearing different costumes from their countries. After morning tea we played games from around the world. In the afternoon we went to Room 16 and we made chinese dragon fans. Then we went to Room 14 and we made a Tongan Tapa Cloth.
